Local pre-delivery QA

Marketing ReportCSV Validator

Check a compatible campaign CSV for missing values, invalid numbers, impossible relationships, duplicate reporting keys, and period warnings—then recalculate CTR, CPC, CVR, and CPA from totals.

This public page is a product guide, not an uploader. No visitor CSV is accepted or stored here.

One documented schema. One local review checkpoint.

Up to 5,000 rows or 5 MBCurrent Chrome or EdgeNo account or server after download
Exact input contract

Eight columns. No silent remapping.

RoutineCut validates one explicit CSV shape. Prepare the file before import instead of asking the checker to guess what each vendor column means.

Required headerdate,client,channel,campaign,spend,impressions,clicks,conversions
date

Reporting date in YYYY-MM-DD format

client

Client or brand name

channel

Channel such as Search, Social, or Content

campaign

Campaign or reporting-group name

spend

Media spend in one consistent currency

impressions

Impression count

clicks

Click count

conversions

Conversion count using one approved definition

Documented validation

Critical rows stop. Warnings stay visible.

Rows with critical conditions are excluded from KPI totals. Warnings require human source review before local sign-off.

Critical

Fix the source and import again.

  • A required text or numeric value is missing
  • Spend, impressions, clicks, or conversions is not a valid number
  • A numeric value is negative
  • Clicks are greater than impressions
  • Conversions are greater than clicks
  • The date, client, channel, and campaign key is duplicated
Warning

Compare the row with the source.

  • A row falls before or after the selected reporting period
  • Spend is positive while clicks are zero
  • Row-level CTR is above 25% and needs source review

Attribution definitions can create legitimate exceptions. The checker surfaces the relationship; a human resolves the meaning.

Total-based KPI math

Recalculate the ratios after invalid rows are removed.

CTRtotal clicks ÷ total impressions × 100
CPCtotal spend ÷ total clicks
CVRtotal conversions ÷ total clicks × 100
CPAtotal spend ÷ total conversions

These formulas use reconciled totals. They do not average row-level percentages.

Downloaded workflow

From compatible export to human sign-off.

01

Download and extract

The paid kit arrives as a ZIP. Extract it and open index.html in a current Chrome or Edge browser.

02

Import a compatible CSV

Use UTF-8, the exact eight required columns, one currency, no more than 5,000 rows, and a file up to 5 MB.

03

Review every result

Critical rows are excluded from totals. Warnings remain visible until a person compares them with the source.

04

Keep delivery human-controlled

Mark the local review complete only after source reconciliation. Nothing is sent to a client automatically.

Product boundary

A focused checker, not a universal data pipeline.

  • No custom CSV transformation or arbitrary vendor schema mapping.
  • No API connection, campaign analysis, or KPI-definition consulting.
  • No network request, analytics, account, or persistent storage in the downloaded tool.
  • No automatic client delivery and no guarantee of error-free reports.
FAQ

Before you buy the validator.

Can I upload a CSV on this public page?

No. This public guide accepts and stores no files. The paid RoutineCut download opens locally in your browser and processes a compatible CSV in browser memory.

Does RoutineCut reshape any marketing export automatically?

No. Your CSV must already use the eight documented columns. Custom transformation, API connections, and arbitrary vendor schemas are outside the product scope.

Why does the validator flag conversions above clicks?

The included rule treats that relationship as critical. View-through, offline, or multi-event attribution can make it legitimate, so reconcile the approved definition and source before using the file.

Does a clean result guarantee an error-free client report?

No. The validator checks its documented fields and relationships. A responsible operator still needs to verify KPI definitions, source totals, context, and final delivery.
